New Global OnRamp Resources

CML now offers FREE resources for getting started with media literacy.  CML's acclaimed evidence-based framework for media literacy provides a global standard that is widely used by educators around the world.   In an effort to promote media literacy worldwide, we are offering FREE materials in a variety of languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Turkish, Arabic, Korean, Chinese, Bosnian).  Global OnRamp resources are available as FREE downloads through the CML Store

Tessa Jolls Receives GAPMIL Award

CML's Tessa Jolls received the International Media and Information Literacy Award from the Global Alliance for Partnerships on Media and Information Literacy (GAPMIL). The honor was awarded at this year's NAMLE/GAPMIL conference during Global Media and Information Literacy Week. Read the press release from UNESCO-UNAOC here

Beyond Blame: Challenging Violence in the Media, A Recipe for Action and Smoke Detectors! have been selected by the California Department of Education as high quality curriculum for in-class and after school programs. California Healthy Kids Resource Library and CASRC library.  All CML curricula meet Common Core State Standards.  The longitudinal evaluation of CML's framework and curriculum, Beyond Blame: Challenging Violence in the Media, is now available through peer-reviewed journals.  Longitudinal research.
